Tom Wood Automotive Collected
1.5 TONS of Food
for Gleaners Food Bank

As many of you know, the Tom Wood Automotive Group spent all of December collected non-perishable food items and taking monetary donations in all of our central Indiana dealership locations. We are pleased to announce that we raised just over 1.5 tons of food items to help the needy this holiday season. A tremendous thanks goes out to all of our customers, employees and families who contributed and helped us reach such a generous donation goal.

For photos of the generous food donations and the Tom Wood caravan that delivered the food to Gleaners new south side headquarter please go to our Facebook page and enjoy our new photo album.

Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana Inc. was founded in a humble garage in 1980 and has since relocated to Indy's southwest side near the airport to accommodate their ever rising demands for canned goods. Gleaners strives to end hunger by securing, storing and redistributing donated food to more than 400 Hunger Relief Charities including those for senior centers, homeless shelters and youth programs. The only way to accomplish that is by involving individuals as well as communities for food drives and donations and volunteer efforts.
