Tom Wood Automotive has
become the most recent member of Habitat for
Humanity of Hamilton County's Community Corporate Partners Program through a new and
exciting partnership. That partnership was cemented yesterday with the
presentation of a Ford F-150 4x4 pickup truck. The truck, wrapped in the
Habitat brand by CSI Signs, was presented by Tom Wood Automotive President
Jeff Wood to Rhett Cecil, Chief Executive Officer of Habitat for Humanity of
Hamilton County.
"We were so pleased to have our partners from the Tom Wood Automotive Group and CSI Signs join us as part of our Community Corporate Partners Program and stand side-by-side with our team as we work daily to serve our ever-growing group of partner family homeowners and expand and grow our ReStore business," said Rhett Cecil, "By donating the Habitat for Humanity of Hamilton County branded Ford F-150 pickup truck, our partners will help us do so many things that we previously didn't have the ability to do - simple things such as delivering the necessary building materials to build sites, to picking up donated building materials and household items to be sold in our ReStore. This is simply a tremendous gift and we are extraordinarily thankful to have a company, such as the Tom Wood Automotive Group, embrace our affiliate's mission and do all they can to help support and grow our capacity to serve."
In addition to the F-150, Tom Wood Automotive will also donate a box truck wrapped by CSI Signs. "Tom Wood Automotive is proud to be a partner with Habitat for Humanity of Hamilton County. The Tom Wood name stands for words like Honor, Integrity, and Loyalty so we feel we have an obligation to give back to the community and help people better themselves and their families," said Roger Keller, Chief Operating Officer of the Tom Wood Automotive Group.
Over 50 people were at Tom Wood Ford yesterday for the unveiling of the truck, and they got to hear about Habitat for Humanity's Super Bowl Legacy project: 32 homes on the East side of Indianapolis were rehabbed and are now places that people can call home. We at Tom Wood Automotive are so proud to support such a worthy cause, and we look forward to cultivating a long term partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Hamilton County. It's just a reminder that Tom Wood Cares about the community. For more pictures of this memorable event, click here to see the album via the Tom Wood Automotive Facebook page.
